The Aotearoa Poetry Film Festival (APFF) is an annual event entirely devoted to the celebration and showcase of poetry film. The Festival features a poetry film competition, workshops, seminars, poetry readings and retrospectives and it aims to showcase the diversity of poetry film produced both in Aotearoa New Zealand and overseas.

The first edition of the festival which took place on 2-3 November 2023 received 250 submissions and featured the screening of over 50 films from NZ and overseas. Following the success of the first and second edition of the festival, several special APFF pop up screenings have taken place in Auckland and Europe. The third edition of APFF will take place on 20-21 November at Vogelmorn Upstairst (Wellington).
